Over the past 14 years of my dedication in addressing food waste with my 5 years in a money strike while I was building foodsharing, the probably biggest voluntary movement in the EU tackling food waste and now since 2017 with SIRPLUS, the online shop of saved food, each new study has presented even higher figures than its predecessors. ๐คฏ
Currently, we are wasting a ๐๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ.๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐ด๐น๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ, which is enough to feed all hungry people three times over.
